Where Creator Meets the Creation
AI FILM FEST MONACO (WAIB Summit) – Official Submission Rules
Submission Rules
The Festival is open globally to all creators of legal age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction). Both individuals and teams may submit.
Each submitted film must be at least 2 minutes long. The film must use AI in its creation, whether in video generation, VFX, animation, voice-overs, music, scriptwriting, or other major components. The film must be original, and you must hold all necessary rights to every element used (video, images, music, voice, scripts, etc.). Submissions must not violate any laws, infringe intellectual property rights, or include content that is obscene, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate. Submissions must also not promote illegal behavior, violence, or contraband.
Submit your film via a YouTube link or by email to partnerships@aifilm-monaco.com. Every submission must include a film poster. The submission deadline is 15 April 2026.
By submitting, you grant the Festival a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to publicly perform, display, distribute, and otherwise use your film (or excerpts) for screenings, marketing, and promotional purposes. You retain ownership rights and confirm you possess all rights necessary for the content you submit.
Any entry failing to meet the technical, legal, or content requirements may be disqualified.
All decisions made by the Festival jury are final. Films will be judged based on creativity, storytelling, technical and artistic quality, innovative use of AI, and overall impact.
The total prize pool is 10,000 USD, which includes cash, sponsored gifts, and credits. The winner will receive the award and may be invited to Monaco to join the event and share their story.
By accepting an award, winners agree to permit the Festival to use their name, film, and submitted materials for publicity, marketing, and promotional purposes.
Submitters agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Festival organizers from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from their submission, including matters related to intellectual property or violations of laws or third-party rights.
The Festival organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the Festival or its rules at any time. If the Festival cannot be held as planned due to force majeure or other causes, the organizers may cancel or adjust the prize awards.
